Tell President Biden to Enshrine Protection for Reproductive Rights

We are calling on President Biden to take action that advances reproductive rights, protects women, girls and LGBTQI+ people around the world, and ensures access to safe abortions.

One of the president’s first acts in office was to rescind the global gag rule, a draconian policy that restricts U.S. foreign aid for organizations that provide abortion services. This is amazing progress, but we can’t stop there.

Add your name to help us send a clear message to the Biden Administration that we want them to keep going, and make it clear to the world that reproductive rights are human rights and abortion is health care.

I am writing to ask you to make reproductive rights a top priority throughout your presidency, saving lives and ensuring that women, girls and LGBTQI+ people around the world can make decisions about their own bodies and lives.

As a supporter of American Jewish World Service — an organization inspired by Jewish values that fights for the rights and health of women, girls, LGBTQI+ people and other marginalized groups around the world — I am grateful that one of your first acts in office was to rescind the dangerous global gag rule.

Please don’t stop there: Keep standing up for reproductive rights throughout your time in office. Encourage members of Congress to pass the Global HER Act and repeal the Helms amendment to send a clear message to the world that reproductive rights are human rights, and abortion is health care.
