Speak Out Against Ethnic Persecution in Burma

The Rohingya community and other ethnic minorities of Burma have faced brutal persecution at the hands of their own country’s military and government for decades. The violence intensified in August 2017, when Burmese military officials burned entire Rohingya villages to the ground; indiscriminately massacred Rohingya men, women and children; raped women and girls; and forced nearly over 740,000 Rohingya people to flee to Bangladesh.

This organized campaign was a genocide: an attempt to annihilate an entire people, simply because of their ethnicity and their religion. As American Jews, we cannot remain. We are mobilizing our global community to demand justice and support for the Rohingya people and accountability for those responsible for these atrocities.

Add your name here to the growing movement of American Jews who support Rohingya rights now —and want democracy for all ethnic minorities in Burma and around the world.
