Speak out for democracy and humanitarian support for Haiti

Haiti is in the midst of multiple crises caused by unchecked gang activity and a lack of government oversight and effectiveness. More than 1.4 million Haitians have now been forced to flee their homes due to gang violence. Millions more are facing hunger and are alone in rebuilding their homes after Hurricane Melissa, with responses dampened by the slashing of USAID and U.S. foreign assistance. Corruption at every level has kept Haiti from moving forward.

Amid these challenges, there is one powerful action we, in the U.S., can take to help the people of Haiti during this profoundly challenging time: pushing Congress to pass the Haiti Criminal Collusion Transparency Act. This act would use the power of our government to address corruption, gang violence and drug trafficking by requiring reporting and sanctions on criminal gangs and on those who enable them. Please use this form to urge your senators to support this bill today.
